Specialtrasfo invests significant resources in its quality control process and its continuous improvement.
Specialtrasfo can mobilize its service engineering team within 24 hours anywhere in the world directly from its headquarters in Italy and/or through selected service partners.

In North America we have selected service partners which can quickly intervene in case of standard maintenance, diagnostics and all activities which involve action on accessible transformer components and fittings
(i. e.: cooling system, piping and gaskets, oil-treatment, marhalling box and auxiliary cables, accessories, protection relays, other ancillaries, painting, etc.). All these activities are conducted under strict supervision of our service engineers and technical department in Italy.

Our partners will also provide their local facilities and crews to assist our service engineering team which would be dispatched to site in the unlikely event of the need to un-tank the transformer active part.

We guarantee that our transformer most delicate and important parts (its core&coils) would be in any case inspected, re-engineered and repaired only by Specilatrasfo’s engineers.

● no. 2 completely new separate test facilities allow us to perform all the tests foreseen by IEC or IEEE standards;

● no. 6 different cranes;
● no. 1 oven for dry treatment;
● 2500 mq external area for the storage of incoming material and transformers ready to be delivered.

Dedicated workshop with 8 coil-winding machines. Windings for high current application with transposed cable technology:

● disc type windings;
● layered windings;
● helical windings;
● foil windings.

● 1400 mq covered area;
● no. 3 cranes with maximum load of 30 ton/each;
● no. 2 large ovens for dry treatment;
● no. 1 machine for vacuum treatment;
● no. 1 large pit for tanking the active part of large transformers;
● no. 1 oil treatment machine and vacuum machine.
