At Specialtrasfo S.p.A., we believe that hashtag#sostenibilità is also built through everyday choices, transforming commitments into concrete and measurable actions.
In line with the path outlined in our 2023 Sustainability Report, we continue to promote initiatives that foster more responsible use of resources and the engagement of our people.
Since August 31, 2026, thanks to the installation of new hashtag#distributori filtered water in offices and production areas, over 140 employees have access to an alternative to single-use plastic bottles.
The results recorded in the first few weeks of installation:
- Over 3,600 liters of filtered water delivered
- More than 7,300 single-use plastic bottles avoided
- Over 70 kg of plastic saved
- Approximately 1.5 tons of CO₂ potentially avoided
Looking at the hashtag#futuro, year-on-year estimates indicate even more significant potential:
Over 77,000 single-use bottles avoided, approximately 800 kg of plastic saved, and up to 16 tons of potentially avoided CO₂ equivalent to approximately 100,000 km traveled by internal combustion engine.
Numbers that demonstrate how a simple change, when it becomes a shared habit, can generate a significant impact.
